Frequently Asked Questions
Will I have the same cleaner(s) every time?
We aim to allocate the same person to carry out office cleaning for your premises on a regular basis. However, if your office / building is bigger and requires a team of cleaners we will be allocating at least one of them the same every time. In case anything changes, for example, your designated office cleaner falls sick, goes on a holiday or their personal circumstances change, we will inform you advance.
Do you provide cleaning materials?
We will be able to provide cleaning materials and equipment upon request and subject to availability. We offer a range of office cleaning solutions and we can advise on what’s best for your space. We can also supply equipment, washroom consumables, antiviral disinfection, and carpet cleaning. Please add this to your requirements list and the team will be able to give you a quote.
Can we combine deep cleans with regular cleaning?
We offer office deep cleaning as a separate one-off service performed by a specially trained team. If you need it, you can just send us an email or give us a call and we will be happy to arrange it. If you require a bit of extra time for your regular cleaner to target some additional areas, we can book them in for longer sessions on regular basis to ensure the proper maintenance of your office.
Can you clean a small office?
We welcome customers regardless of their size. We will be happy to help to arrange a weekly or daily office cleaning service even for smaller offices. Our services are always subject to availability, however our friendly customer service team can check and let you know when they process your inquiry.
How long is the contract?
Our standard commercial services agreement is for a minimum of 1 year. We are sometimes able to accommodate rolling contracts.
Can you supply eco-friendly cleaning materials?
Cleaning Express encourages customers to use eco-friendly cleaning materials in line with our sustainability policy. We have established good relationship with quality suppliers of eco-friendly solutions for office cleaning, which are not only good for environment, but better for your staff and visitors too.
How are the payments made?
Most of our customers pay by Direct Debit. We also provide a credit account for our daily contract cleaning customers. We accept PayPal, credit and debit card payments for one-off office cleaning services.
Can you provide a VAT invoice for office cleaning services?
Certainly, we can provide a weekly or monthly VAT invoice depending on how often you pay. These can be emailed to you automatically if you pay by Direct Debit. All pricing offers we make are exclusive of VAT.
How are the quotes formed?
Our quotes are based on a few elements: the cleaners’ wage, our agency fee and whether you have chosen to add any extras (detergents, equipment, consumables etc.) The price you pay is per hour. Our commercial cleaners get at least London Living Wage. Our agency fee calculation is based on the amount of hours per week, insurance and transport costs as well as any management of cleaning solutions and other extras. You can ask for more detail when placing your inquiry with us.
Do you do site visits?
We will be happy to send one of our representatives to have a look at your premises and provide advice on your cleaning needs. You can also send us pictures, videos or floorplans of your property so we can give you a rough estimate of the fees.
What is the notice period?
Our notice period for commercial services is 2 months.
How often should the office be cleaned?
This will depend on the size of your office, number of staff and your office environment. Although most of our clients choose weekly service, we provide office cleaning once or twice per week to some of our customers.
